Katherine Bear Obituary

Katherine E. Bear NORFOLK - Katherine E. Bear, 78, of the 3700 block of Nottaway St., passed away peacefully April 13, 2010 in her home. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Sarah Martin and the widow of Harry N. Bear. She is survived by her two daughters, Jo Anne Romano and husband Mark of Virginia Beach and Janet Woodley and husband Alan of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren, Jennifer Pennall of Fayetteville, N.C., and Christopher Woodley of Pasadena, Texas; and a host of great grandchildren. She is also survived by three stepsons, Larry Bear of North Carolina, David Bear of Georgia and George Bear of Delaware and a stepdaughter, Deborah Bear of Virginia. All services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

We lived in Brambleton.
