To the Family of James Powell:
We are truely saddened by your loss and we express our heartfelt sympathy to the family. We remember James from the time he had a newspaper route in Mt. Hermon. You could hear his music as he drove through the neighborhood delivering papers. His since of humor and jubilant spirit will be missed as well as his willingness to help others. Most of all we would like to remember him as our brother in Christ. May our Lord be near you and bless you during this time of grief in His gracious way. May each prayer help ease the sorrow that you feel.
"Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be conforted.." Matthew 5:4

James Otis, since I can remember, you have always been apart of my life. Elementary thru marriage, moving away and back home, kids, divorces and new realationships. Fights about were you parked the truck, how loud it was in the morning when you started it up, loud music while cleaning your car, how to cut my grass, what oil to use in the car and keeping the car clean at all times. We always had a difference of opinion, would get mad about it, but you were always there. Thanks for the long talks, watching over the house at night while I was at work, and keeping the boys out of trouble. (unless they included you) Who's going to be the number one fan for the Gaint's? Football will not be the same without that weekly phone call if they won. I'll miss you but I know "You'll always be there"

James and I went to school together (elementary, jr. high) and grew up in Mt. Hermon. I would run into him every now and then. The short visit would always leave a smile on my face. Rest in peace my friend...a job well done. Sandra Perkins Bishop (Pookie)
