Nellie Mae Johnson

Nellie Mae Johnson CHESAPEAKE - Nellie Mae "Nell" Johnson, 73, of the 1400 block of Bayberry Court South, passed away April 16, 2010 in her home. A native of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Wyatt and the widow of Robert Lee Johnson. She is survived by her son, Donnie Lee Johnson; her granddaughter, Tiffany Lynne Johnson; her brother, William T. Wyatt; two sisters, Nettie Marie Barnes and Margie Sherin; and her half sister, Alease Scherger. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
