Rose Wilson Hill NORFOLK - Rose Wilson Hill, 98, passed away April 16, 2010 in Norfolk. A native of Winfield, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Latha and Betty Wilson and the widow of Thomas Floyd Hill Sr. She was a retired school teacher with Crossroads Elementary School. She was a graduate of The College of William & Mary. She was raised in a Junior Order Homes in Tiffon, Order and taught there for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Green and husband William of Damascus, Md.; two sons, Thomas Floyd Hill Jr. and wife Patricia of Pittsboro, N.C., and Lawrence Hill and wife Louise of Norfolk; a sister, Dorothy Hussar of Blacksburg, Va.; a brother, Oscar Wilson of Tiffon, Ohio; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, John Hill. A funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with the Rev. James Dunlap officiating.
