Bernard Holker

Bernard E. Holker NORFOLK - Bernard Emil Holker, born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct 4, 1927, died Friday, April 16, 2010. He attended St. Francis after serving in the U.S. Army - post-World World War II as a radio operator. He leaves behind his wife, Adelaide; nephew, Gerard; niece, Michelle; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren through marriage. He was a loyal member of St. Sebastian's 870 Post, Catholic War Veterans, and Irish American Society of Tidewater. He was a very loving husband and grandfather. We will miss you. A memorial service was held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
