Bernard Cavender Obituary

Bernard V. Cavender VIRGINIA BEACH - Bernard V. Cavender, 87, of the 3400 block of Poppy Crescent, passed away April 21, 2010 in his home. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late William and Roxie Cavender. He retired from Haynes Furniture Store as a distribution manager. He was an Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Faye Ford Cavender; two daughters, Bonnie Grimstead and husband Albert and Susan Armour and husband Gary, all of Virginia Beach; four grandsons, one granddaughter, and four great- grandsons. He is also survived by a sister, Iris Jones of Norfolk, and numerous nieces and nephews. All services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
