Robert Oldham Obituary

Robert W. Oldham NORFOLK - Robert Wayne Oldham, 63, of the 700 block of Marvin Ave., passed away April 27, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Robert and Lois Haus. He was a simple man of many talents serving his country in Vietnam, was a former Norfolk police officer, an automobile mechanic and a man of many other talents. He loved nature and enjoyed fishing with the love of his life, Anita. Wayne also enjoyed hunting, gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anita Smith- Oldham; two sons, R. Wayne Oldham Jr. and Jason K. Oldham and wife Andi; a daughter, Charlene Parr and husband Robert, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Laura Ann Palmer and husband David of Currituck County, North Carolina and Patsy Arrington and husband Al of Richmond; and five grandchildren, Dillon, Darrel, Marshall, Jesse and Summer. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with Pastor Neil Van Keane officiating.
