Deborah Tynes Obituary

Deborah D. Tynes NORFOLK - Deborah Denise Tynes, 55, of the 9600 block of Sherwood Place, passed away April 30, 2010 at Norfolk Health Care. She was born Feb. 12, 1955 in Norfolk. She was predeceased by a son, Clea- Vonne S. Tynes. Deborah was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she served on the women's usher board. She was employed with Virginia Beach Resort Hotel as a housekeeper and also Saint Timothy Church as a daycare provider. She is survived by her husband, Harry J. Tynes; one daughter, LaShiba Tynes; two sons, Antoine and RhaeShaun Tynes; one brother, David Leon Boone; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 934 W. Little Creek Road. Pastor William L. Davis Jr. will officiate. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will gather at 7048 Gregory Drive to greet friends today and also assemble one hour prior to service for procession to the church. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
