Jean Trecartin Obituary

Jean Marie Trecartin NORFOLK - Jean Marie Trecartin, 83, of Norfolk, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Monday, May 3, 2010. She was preceded in death by parents, William "Bud" and Blanche Trecartin. She was the sister of the late Lloyd Trecartin and Valerie Ferrero; sister-in-law of Joseph Ferrero; she is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and a few close, loyal friends. Jean was born in Orono, Maine. She was a commander in the U.S. Navy serving as a nurse and traveled in the U.S., South Pacific and Africa. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person with a spontaneous sense of humor. She truly loved her many pets. A service will be held at a later date. Family suggests memorial contributions to Humane Society of U.S., Dept. MEMIT9, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20037. Arrangements by Beinhauers, Pittsburgh, 412-531-4000.
