I am so sorry for your loss. Ralph was always so kind and nice to me when I worked with him at the Naval Hospital. I will always remember that when he would give me a kind hug that his hearing aids would buzz and I would laugh. He could always bring a smile to my face and make me laugh. I remember his long talks about his granddaughter. My parents had known Ralph for years before I did and also thought the world of him. The world has lost a special person here on earth.

Dad, we are all going to miss your warm sense of humor and loving attitude. We were blessed to have you as a dad and my sons are blessed to have you as their grandfather. Enjoy Heaven and see you when I get there. Don't aggravate Mom too much, as she might knock you off a cloud!

TO THE HOGGARD FAMILY...
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS....RALPH WAS A WONDERFUL MAN THAT I REMEMBER HIM COMING AND INTRODUCING HIMSELF TO MY PARENTS AND OUR FAMILY WHEN WE FIRST MOVED ONTO POTOMAC AVENUE.....RALPH WAS WHAT WE CALLED THE MAYOR OR PORT NORFOLK....HE WAS ALWAYS SMILING AND READY TO GIVE HIS OPINION IF YOU NEEDED IT. THE LAST TIME I SAW RALPH WAS WHEN I WAS LAST HOME BACK WHEN MY DAD DIED IN JULY OF 2009. IM GOING TO MISS RALPH CAUSE HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND I KNOW HE WAS A WONDERFUL FATHER AND GRANDFATHER TO HIS FAMILY.....NOW HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH HIS WIFE FRANCIS AGAIN AND THEY CAN BE HAPPY FOR ALL ETERNITY.....
