Lorenzo Williams Obituary

Lorenzo Williams NORFOLK - Lorenzo Williams, 57, departed this life May 18, 2010. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was predeceased by his father, Johnnie L. Williams. Lorenzo leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Vencena Williams; his sons, Lorenzo Jr., Jermaine and Vincent Williams, all of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Nakhiya, whom he loved very much; mother, Bertha Williams; his brother-in-law, Martin Matthews; three brothers, Elisha, Michael and James Williams (Valerie); five sisters, Shirley and Patricia Williams, Johnnie Fullwood (Richard), Thomasena Bell and Sylvia Bradley; a special sister-in-law, Diane Williams; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Thursday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3663 Humboldt St. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. today in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.

Vencena & Family, Sorry for the loss of your beloved husband "Lorenzo". He will always be remembered and missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him . That smile and the hat pulled down over his eyes. God loves you Cena, and he will be with you all the way.
