Jeanette Kennedy Obituary

Jeanette S. Kennedy VIRGINIA BEACH - Jeanette Spain Kennedy, 74, passed away June 2, 2010. She was raised by a wonderful foster mother, Addie J. White in Knotts Island, N.C. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 45 years, Louis and a sister Catherine Allen. She was a member of Knotts Island Methodist Church. She is survived by five children, Denise Pelton of Missouri, Diane Parker and husband Danny of Florida, Louann Rutherford and husband Dan, and Roy Kennedy of Virginia Beach, and Yvonne Kennedy of Georgia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchild; and a brother, Al Tunnel. She will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 5, at 2 p.m. in Willowwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Creeds Rescue Squad, 595 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
