Ulyses Dunston Obituary

Ulyses G. Dunston NORFOLK - Ulyses Grant Dunston, 87, formerly of the 2800 block of Bapaume Ave., departed this life June 2, 2010. Born in Virginia Beach, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa A. Dunston. He is survived by three daughters, Shirley M. Dunston of Norfolk, Rosa L. Jefferson (James E.) of New Jersey and Georgia M. Dunston of Maryland; one son, Joe T. Dunston of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral will be held Wednesday at noon in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. We invite you to send a condolence message in the family's guestbook at www. pretlowandsons.com.
