Lorraine Grunewald

Lorraine W. Grunewald SUFFOLK - Lorraine W. Grunewald, "Muh," 83, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2010. She was the daughter of the late John Clark White and Bernice Petty White and sister of the late John C. White Jr. Muh was a loving and devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She and her husband were former owners of Grunewald's Drive In. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing golf. She will be remembered for her laughter, sense of humor, smile, and love of life. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in- law, Gail and Wayne Wilkins; granddaughter, Susan Parsain and husband Mike; her grandson, Steve Wilkins and wife Amy; great-grandchildren, Drew, Bryson, and Brileigh Parsain and Brett and Blake Rutledge. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Open Door Church with the Rev. Tony Peaks officiating. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, and other times at her residence.
