A celebration of her life will be held Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Open Door Church with the Rev. Tony Peaks officiating. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, and other times at her residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Open Door Church at 816 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, or the Spina Bifida Association, 4590 MacArthur Blvd., NW Suite 250, Washington, D.C. 20007.
