My first time meeting Grano was on New Years Day of 2010. He was such a delight, a great person to have met. My love and prayers are always with you all.

Mr. Thompson was such a positive person-always smiling and radiating the joy of Christ. I will never forget my Uncle Billy and Aunt Viv sharing memories and funny stories of happy times spent with Mr. & Mrs. Thompson. Mr. Thompson touched everyone by making the trip back to Portsmouth for my uncle's funeral. Mr. Thompson was a kind and loving family man. My prayers are with his family but they know that they will be with Mr. Thompson again with our Lord in Glory.

I remember Grano dancing with me. He would put my feet on top of his feet and we would dance together. I miss hearing him call me "Doll" and I look forward to the time we all get together again. Love, Darlene

Our prayer are with the family during this time of home-going for our brother in Christ. We know that "Mr. John" is rejoicing in heaven and probably quoting scripture to God. He was an awesome man, and loved by our church family at Manteo Baptist.
Love, Pastor Ken & Jeannie

Uncle John will never be forgotten. From his happy dance to walking in the mall holding up his walker. If you knew him, please place an entry of a funny/inspiring incident with you and him. Thank you to all for the prayers and "Blessings on You"!
