Carolanne Carter KNOTTS ISLAND - Carolanne Carter, 45, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday evening June 9, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Carolanne was born Dec. 11, 1964 in Scotland. She attended Knotts Island Baptist Church. Carolanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a wonderful homemaker. Carolanne was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Cathledge. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Carter of the home; three children, Kirsty Cahoon and husband Tony of Moyock, N.C., Ian Carter of Virginia Beach and Morgan Carter of the home; two brothers, James Cathledge and John Ure, both of Virginia Beach; and granddaughter, Avrie Cahoon.
