I Love and Miss You everyday. So much has changed in the past 13 months. I try to be thankful for everything we had but it hurts so much that your gone and we going to keep building on that it seems impossiblle but do know that Iam very thankful to have a Love like ours, I know you were my first love, my greatest love, and my one and only true love. I have always known we were made for each other and that our Love was very special. I know now that a broken heart is a real thing and it might not physcialy take you away but it will kill everything inside of you and it is a very slow healer. I know now know that soulmates are for real I didnt realize that until i didnt have one. So I want to thank you for all the wonderful years, menories, and life you give me. I have and always, and forever will Love YOU.. I want so bad to be with you and hopeful it wont be long till i with you again. If you can some way to guide and comfront throught this lost time of my i would greatly appericate it.. I will Miss and LOVE YOU FOREVER!!! With all my Love

Hoping you are up there having one heck of a time with tiny, nanny, and grandma with a rum and coke in your hand. We miss you like crazy each and everyday. But you taught us to be strong among so many other things. Love you like crazy your baby girl

Well babe you would have be very happy today, as of Monday the shop is no longer ours. It wasn't the best deal but it could have been a lot worst. It is so bittersweet. It feels like Im losing a little piece of me again, leaving all the stuff behind that you built for me when we first stated. We did have lots of good time up there and a lot of family time over the 16 years. I just wished I had closed earlier like you said then I would have been able to spend more time with you, and you wouldn't have left here all alone. You sounded so down most of the time while you were on this trip, I just wonder if I had been there would I have notice something
and you might would still be here. Every Day just get worst and I miss you so much and just want to talk to you. Today would have been more like a celebration than just another piece of me gone. I wonder what I have done to have all this pain, I loved my life just the way it was and I don't know why is it being force to change so much so fast. Again thank you for making one of me dreams come true. I hope it was not a disappointment for you. I can remember you saying I rather you try and fail than always wished you had. Thanks to you I did it. We did it. Now what do I do without You???

Six weeks ago about this time I had been trying to call and got no answer. Then I stared getting strange phone calls everybody wanting to know whats up, then before I knew it Kelly and your boss Mike came walking in the back door. I could tell Kelly has been crying, then Mike spoke words I could not began to grasp, words that couldn't be true, words that would change my like forever, words that were so unexpected. Words I never wanted to hear much less believe. All I knew was I had to get to were you were. There were so many people coming by that just could not believe it was true and they were all crying for you. Tickets were bought and Michael and I were leaving in the morning to bring home and to find our nightmare to be true. Bubba was call home from SC, and what a horrible trip that had to be. Kelly was left her to handle things like only she could. Everybody pulled together as a family just what you would have expected us to do. We did so easily because of our love for you.
If I knew that morning would be the last time I would ever get to talk to you I would have never hung up. I would have never told you go to sleep. I would ask you more about you having trouble stay awake so you could call me and wake me like you did most mornings. But I am thankful that we said I LOVE YOU like we ended every call.

Today has been one month since we had your service. I miss you more everyday.
I keep praying I will wake up and it will have all been a bad dream. I ask often why you. THe only comfort i can find is knowing what we had and how much we loved each other, but most of the time it is no comfort. Our kids have been wonderful at trying to keep me up, but nobody could do that like you. I want to thank you again for such a wonderful life and family. A life that will never be the same without You.
Oh yea I paid for this spot on line, and you would ask why and I say I dont know why I just couldnt let go. I thought I might find a little comfort here with you and some time to just reflect. OH yea dont ask how i paid for it. If I knew you all I know that would be your first respone.

Chris and I are so sorry for your terrible loss. The memories we both cherish of our baseball coaching days with you guys are the best, no doubt. It took leading DADS like David to support getting everything ready for our kids to play ball. The laughs we had preping the fields late at night for next day allstar games will allways remain price-less.The calm I learned from David when you had that one in millon up set parent with a coach. He once told me that I may want to suggest to an up set parent that( in his calm way) their child may be better suited for soccer. To this day, that is one of the funniest things I have ever heard, and it worked. We will never forget your David.

I'm so sorry to hear of Daves passing, we spent many years working together in the Navy Yard, we had rough jobs but lots of laughs as well, Our nicknames for each other was "Shoo-Boy", during an extremely long and hot job of cable pulling one hot summer day,we finally got to a point we could take a break, we looked at each other at the same time and said Shoo Boy what a job!!! After that many times I'd be walking down the pier and from somewhere in the distance I'd hear "Shoo- Boy and know that Dave was saying hey!! I'll miss you brother,,,,,, Mark Thompson
