Once in a while the Lord places someone in your life with whom you can understand thier struggles, sorrows, grief, as well as celebrate lifes victories. Having had daughters the same age with disibilities, Edna and I had a very unique relationship in that respect. Edna and I shared our most secret feelings and fears about our daughters, and ultimately we always decided we were in God's will, and as long as we stayed in His will, He would keep us and our children safe. I had the honor of being her sister in law for 15 years, and while she kept us laughing, there was never a moment when we didn't love and respect her. My deepest sympathy to her mother Mary who has always demonstrated the peace and comfort that can be found in trusting the Lord. I pray the Lord brings peace and comfort to the rest of the family during this difficult time, and I will be lifting Billy and the girls up in prayer. Bethy, Kindal sends all her love and prayers your way!

Edna was my best friend all of my life. I cant think of words to describe our relationship to each other. No two friends could have loved each other more. Years apart could never change the bond we had with each other. I can say that she was the closest friend I have ever had and will ever have in my life. And I know that she felt the same way about me.
Memories: She gave me my first bible. We went through Beauty school together. We spent all our summers at Ocean View Amusement Park together. We gave birth to our daughters within two months of each other. All the weekends we spent the day at the Park Theater viewing Elvis Presley movies for 50 cents. My heart goes out to her family. My deepest sympathy. Thank you Billy for always being there. I know how very much she loved you. Love Josie
