Henry Battle

Henry C. Battle PORTSMOUTH - Henry C. Battle, 58, of the 1500 block of Wool Ave., died July 8, 2010 in Capron, Va., after a battle with cancer. Mr. Battle had been employed as a salesman. Survivors include a son, Sebastian Boyd of New York; two sisters, Earline Parker and Margaret Baker, both of Portsmouth; three grandchildren of New York; an aunt, Elnora Jones of Portsmouth; an uncle, Leon Battle; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Milton Battle and three brothers, Milton, Robert and Wayne Battle. Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham St., Portsmouth, is in charge.
