Bobbie Holman Obituary

Bobbie Holman VIRGINIA BEACH - Bobbie Holman, 78, of the 800 block of St. Martin Drive, passed away July 15, 2010 in a local hospital. A native of Amarillo, Texas, he was the son of the late George L. and Ena D. Holman. He retired from the United States Navy as a chief petty officer. He was past president of the Virginia Gasoline Retailers and was a member of Cypress Point Golf Association. He is survived by wife, Barbara; son, Robert G. Sr. and fiancée Kitty Pugh of Norfolk; daughter, Paula H. Bugnar and husband Perry of Newtown, Pa.; three grandchildren, Robert G. Holman Jr. and wife Tina of U.S. Air Force in Fairbanks, Alaska, Ashley and Chase Bugnar of Newtown, Pa.; three great-grandsons, Robert, Andrew and Jack; and a brother, Buster Holman and wife Jean of Amarillo, Texas; and the rest of the Texas Holman family. We are very sorry to read of Mr. Holman's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are w/ you and your family. May you all find some kind of peace in the days to follow as he has put up a long and difficult fight.
