Ann, Dad just called to tell me of Max's passing. My mind went back to memories ...going to the Arcade downtown where he had his shop, the pictures he made at my wedding and how I treasure them, Ray and Randy being at our house helping Jim and I hang our Christmas stockings, visiting your home, going to the beach and more. As you can tell they are all good memories. Must admit I probably wouldn't have recognized him as the photo above shows.
I like the idea of having him cremated and having guests to your home instead of making everyone stand in 105 degrees heat.
I live in an Assisted Living Facility in Greenville, NC so I won't be able to come. Please accept my condolences as you miss his presence. But that's just because you can't see him and cross in the hall, have meals together, laugh with one another. He will be seeing you I believe. And one day we will all be together, not just as our family, but as children of God, through Jesus our Savior.
With love, Beth Price Joyner
