Joyce Goodwin Obituary

Joyce Ann Goodwin NORFOLK - Joyce Ann Goodwin, 47, formerly of Norfolk, died Sept. 1, 2010 in Georgia. She was the widow of Robert Wayne Goodwin, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Danielle Goodwin and fiancé Chris Hyler; a son, Robert Wayne Goodwin Jr.; a sister, Mary Ellen Long-Barr; two brothers, Darryl Wayne Long and Donald Eugene Long Jr.; a grandson, Brayden Alan Hyler; and a niece, Cieara Long. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Joyce, you are a friend, a best friend and a mother to me and now you are one of my closest angels! You will be missed and Loved by all. I wish you were still here with us, you made us laugh and we had good times. You have been there since the day I was born and you always will be here with me in spirits.
