Mary Belcher Obituary

Mary Belcher VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Belcher, 63, died Sept. 1, 2010 surrounded by family. Born May 9, 1947, she was a graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School and Norfolk General Nursing Program. She was daughter of the late Eugene and Pat Zarzecki. She was an active member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. Survivors include her dedicated husband, Lawrence T. Belcher; son, Jeffrey A. Belcher and wife Noelle; granddaughters, Sophia and Penelope; son, Christopher M. Belcher; her loving sisters, Cynthia Claud and Deborah McCubbins; and cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Mark's Church, 1505 Kempsville Road, Thursday at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. An interment ceremony will be held at a later date.
