Kathleen Wittman Obituary

Kathleen Marie Wittman CHESAPEAKE - Kathleen Marie Wittman, 57, of the 400 block of Flax Mill Drive, passed away Sept. 6, 2010 in a local hospital. A native of Schenectady, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Michael Ezzo Sr. and Elizabeth Proper Marx. She was a member of Apostles Lutheran Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Craig P. Wittman; her daughter, Sandra M. Dail and husband James of Richmond, Va.; her son, Matthew D. Wittman and wife Lindsey of Elizabeth City, N.C.; two brothers, Michael Ezzo Jr. of Whitesboro, N.Y., and Nicholas Ezzo of Vestal, N.Y. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary E. Marx; a brother, Joseph Marx Jr.; and a son, David Wittman. A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Apostles Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Chesapeake Free Clinic, 2145 Military Hwy., Chesapeake, VA 23320. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
