Dorothy Young

Dorothy L. Young NORFOLK - Dorothy Louise Lay Young, 56, passed away Sept. 7, 2010. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Clarence "Bud" and Alma Shirley Burgess Lay. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Treem and her husband Tim of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Lee Rager Jr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Michaellee Witek, Zahara Witek, Cheyenne Treem and Alison Rager; and two nephews, Bill Mansourzadeh and Danny Rose. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Rose; and her brother, Otis Lay. A private viewing was held at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach.
