Myrtle Bolling Obituary

Myrtle Johnson Bolling NORFOLK - Myrtle Johnson Bolling, 87, a retired civil service employee of 43 years, was called home to be with the Lord Sept. 8, 2010. Predeceased by her loving husband; three brothers; and one sister, she is survived by a daughter, Teresa Weatherington; a sister, Dorothy Pennypacker; two grandchildren, Larry Weatherington III and Lacy A. Warren; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Myra and Layla Warren. Visitation will be Sunday between 2 and 4 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Avenue. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 a.m. in Azalea Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Azalea Baptist Church Building Fund.

Teresa and Family,

We are so very sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful person and friend to our Mom and Dad and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. May you take comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven and may this help you during this difficult time. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
