Raymond Colston Obituary

Raymond C. Colston NORFOLK - Raymond C. Colston of the 5200 block of Cape Henry Ave. died Sept. 8. 2010, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. Born in Quincy, Fla., he was a painter and owned Colston Painting. He was predeceased by his parents, Elouise Colston and Otto Colston; and a brother, Ronnie Colston. Survivors include his wife, Samoa Colston; three sons, Christopher Colston, Raymond Colston and Ira Colston; a sister, Agnes Colston; two brothers, Otto Colston Jr. and Leroy Colston; stepmother, Wilma Colston; in-laws, Sampson and Geraldine Yearling; and a host of other wonderful relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Calvary Revival Church, with Bishop B. Courtney McBath officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Monday, Sept. 13, from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the residence for the procession. Carlos A.
