Shirley Bradshaw Obituary

Shirley Ralph Bradshaw SUFFOLK - Shirley Ralph Bradshaw, 79, passed away Sept. 12, 2010. She was born in Corapeake, N.C., the daughter of the late Thelma Jones Ralph and Horace Starling Ralph. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence A. Bradshaw. Shirley retired as a Planned Parenthood Outreach Worker for the Suffolk Health Department. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter No. 1315. Shirley is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Wayne Jones of Corapeake, N.C., Toni and Wayne Ivey of Suffolk; sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Debbie Bradshaw, Dip and Stephanie Bradshaw, all of Suffolk; grandchildren, Lee Allen Boone, Katelin and Michaela Jones, Jeremy Bradshaw, Andrea Curry (Chris), Tabitha Sue Copeland (Joey), Keaton Friant (Jimmy), Allen Bradshaw, Annai, Victoria, Jacob, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Leslie, Joshua, Austin and Aiden; brother, Ben "Buddy" Ralph of Portsmouth; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Willard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the Women of the Moose Chapter 1315, Moose Charities, P.O. Box 4025, Suffolk, VA 23439 or Eureka Baptist Church, Youth Group, P.O. Box 68, Corapeake, NC 27926. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.

Remembering Shirley and her family on this anniversary of her going to be with the Lord. The last time I saw her she was showing me her baby bonnet and I will never forget that day.
