Lillian Evans Obituary

Lillian W. Evans BELLE HAVEN - Lillian Williams Evans, 92, passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at her residence in Belle Haven. Her parents were the late William Henry Williams and Della Lelia Baldwin Williams. She was a retired nursing assistant. Mrs. Evans is survived by four daughters, Sue M. Dunton of Belle Haven, Kathy Payne of Eastville, Va., Joan E. Gee of Springfield, Va., and Iris E. and her husband Wilson Custis of Craddockville, Va.; and one sister, Hattie Smith of Jamesville, Va. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brad Payne, Carla Rouelle, Terry Goswellen and Tammy Reese; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Johnnie B. Evans; her grandson, Evan Payne; and sons-in-law, Dickie Gee and Johnny Payne. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. at Belle Haven Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Family and friends may sign the guest book at www.hollandfuneralhome.net. Arrangements by B.D. Holland Funeral Home in Nassawadox, Va.
