I was extremely surprised to hear of Jimmie's passing. We graduated in the same year from Norcom High School, were good friends and hung around together, along with Brenda Langley and a few others. I lived in Cavalier Manor. I left in my early twenties and only visited Virginia ocasionally and never ever saw Jimmie again. However, I will always remember the fun times we had together. My deepest sympathies to Jimmie's family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers today and in the diffidult days ahead that are sure to come. Remember that God hears the words we cannot say, He sees the hurts we cannot express and He will dry the tears no one sees us cry.

To Jackie and family:
I extend my heart and love to you during this most difficult and trying time. Please find peace in these words from a poem called "Safely Home":
I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now in peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
Please know that if you need me; I'm only a phone call away. With all my Love

Just wanna say the Shelton's (LeRoy, Bernadine, Yolanda and Danielle) are going to miss him for sure. Minister Lofton, I still want to call him Mr. Shady/Uncle Shady as a habit. He and my dad (LeRoy) were really good friends, hanging and doing stuff in their younger days. He and Ms. Jackie were a funny loving couple and Donica was one of my sister's (Danielle) good friends. He's definately in a better place. Mr. Shady say Hi to my brother (Butch). Much love to him and the family.
