Jo Tucker Obituary

Jo Branning Tucker NORFOLK - Jo Branning Tucker was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Nov. 8, 1927 and went home to heaven Aug. 28, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Tucker of LaMarque, Texas; two sons, Lee Branning and his wife Carla, Joe Marc Branning and his wife Debbie; foster sons, Rolph Kullander, Jim Blair and Jon Morshead; stepchildren, Harriett Massey, Susan Tucker and Jeff Tucker; eight grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Jo, also known to many as Mama Jo, was an artist, teacher, friend and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed helping people whether it be with a math problem or a life problem. She will be remembered and missed by many. Jo lived in Norfolk and taught at Norfolk Christian High School for 18 years and since marrying Chuck had lived in LaMarque, Texas, for the last 26 years. A service of celebration of her life will be held at Tabernacle Church of Norfolk at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to Norfolk Christian School Tuition Aid Account.
