We had the pleasure of meeting Jim and Jo when they stayed the month of May this year at our Llama farm. During the time they were here, Sonny (our little male Llama) was born. Jim took the best pictures of Sonny and Rosie (Sonny's half-sister). Jim enjoyed sitting out on the deck, rocking in the rocking chair and enjoying nature. He told me that we had wild turkeys down by the pond although we hadn't taken the time to either see or hear them. He also took some great pictures of deer in the pasture...

Jim and Jo were coming back on October 1st for 17 days. He said they would be back for the entire month of May 2011 in time for the newest group of Llama babies to be born. The fact that he was planning for the future impressed the heck out of us...with that type of positive attitude we thought it might actually happen!

Although we only knew Jim for 5 months, it was apparent that he was an amazing man...one who had a great appreciation for wildlife, but also had a deep love for his mom, daughters and his pup Maggie.

We are sending our deepest sympathy to you, Jo and Michele, Christy and of course to little Maggie. Please know you are in our thoughts.

Jim was a very dear friend who was kind, loyal, and always willing to lend a hand. He loved simple pleasures, a mountain view, a hockey game, fishing and hunting, riding his motorcycle, and growing things in his garden. Most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

I'll miss him so very much.

VROOM !! VROOM !!!

Jim will truly be missed. I will always remember the good times in Bedford and Danville, and of course all the hunting stories! His journals in Caring Bridge were amazing and I know he was an inspiration to many.

I'm praying that Jim and Grady are together now - probably looking for 12 pointers.

Jo, I see where Jim got his strength and courage from. You are such a blessing.

My deepest sympathy to Jo, Michelle, Christy and the family. Love, Sue
