Mildred Skoraszewski Obituary

Mildred F. Skoraszewski CHESAPEAKE - Mildred Falconer Skoraszewski, 88, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 in Chesapeake. She was born Dec. 12, 1921 in Norfolk to the late Rosalyn P. and Frank W. Gregory. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ashbel Pearce (Percy) Falconer Jr. and is survived by her husband, Edward Skoraszewski; son, Ashbel Pearce (Perky) Falconer III and wife Liz; two granddaughters, Sarah and Rachel; brother, Frank W. Gregory Jr. and wife Nancy; and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach and Ocean View Chapter No. 34 of the Order of the Eastern Star and past president of the Kempsville Senior Citizens Club. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, where the family will greet friends the hour prior. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park, 1000 Indian River Road, Norfolk immediately following the service. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

To the family of Mildred,

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you mourn the loss of Mildred.

It's been many years (we moved away from Norfok some 28 years ago) since we've had contact but had many good memories when Libby and I were youngsters visiting with our parents (Clarence & Edna) and grandparents (Clarence & Beulah) with Uncle Frank and family. We also enjoyed our trips to the cottage at Nags Head with the Gregory clan.

Family of Mildred . . .
My sister, Libby, just notified me of Mildred's passing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

My family and I are living in Illinois and haven't had contact in over 25 years but, have many fond memories of times with the family when we were youngsters - visiting at the nags head cottage and in Norfolk.

May you find peace in comfort . . .
