Dear Amy & Family,
Johnnie and I wish to convey our condolences for the loss of your father. We did not meet him personally, but know that he had to be a great man of unquestionable moral character. This is evident because he raised a wonderful daughter who exemplified genuine kindness, honesty, and a love for all people......you, Amy! We pray that God will grant you and your family comfort and grace during this time.
Love & Prayers,

Bernie Kirsch

George Eastes was a man of great integrity, a community-minded citizen of our community, who earned respect from all who knew him. He will be missed. His family has my deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to George's family. I worked at the Naval Supply Center when he was in the Planning Dept. We rode together from Portsmouth along with others in the same car. He was always cool, calm and collected.......humorous, and a good person to know. I'm sure I gave my riders in my old '37 Chevy some anxious moments when I had to drive on ice, but George was always calm about any slides we had along the way.
