Dear Katie, I just learned about the passing of your mother. I am truly sorry. It is always difficult to lose a loved one, especially your mother. You have been richly blessed to have had her with for as long as you did. You can be grateful for that. I know that you will think of her often and have wonderful memories. I hope this will comfort you during this time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Mayon Cox Hughes

Got home at midnight last night from Vancouver and just found this and Buck's note earlier in the week. My lasting memory of Aunt Evelyn is that she always - always - always was nice to me and very happy to be around. I hope I will be remembered the same way. You are truly blessed to have had such a lovely person for your Mom. With Love to all of you, Mott (and Bill, too, of course)

Bucky and Katie,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She sure lived a long, good life. I remember her well from Epiphany and liked her very much. Take care.
