Nancy Miller Obituary

Nancy E. Miller NORFOLK - "I'm ready, and I'm not afraid." These are the words of Nancy Miller before she went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Sept. 30, 2010. Nancy was born in 1936 to Neil and Gwendolyn Bierce in Portsmouth, N.H. It was there, while working as a movie theater candy clerk, that she met her husband, Werner William Miller, a young Navy man. Nancy and Werner celebrated 55 years of marriage. Over the years, Nancy poured her love and care into the lives of others. She will be well remembered for her giving and forgiving heart. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, her four children and their spouses, her 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many friends. She was affectionately called "Nana" by many. She will be remembered for her faithful service in teaching church children. Nancy also invested in the lives of many parents and students, as the "school mom" during a portion of her 32 years of employment at Norfolk Collegiate School. The family will have a gathering of remembrance at a later date. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Southeastern Multiple Myeloma Support Group, 913 Charlestown Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Arrangements are being handled by Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. Online condolences may be made via the online guestbook at www.FamilyChoiceFunerals.com.

Dear Miller Family....

I am so sorry to read about Nancy's passing. I loved Nancy and the
Werner Miller Family. I often think about you and our many Sundays at Glengarrif Baptist Church and especially singing in the choir with
Nancy.

My deepest sympathy, love, care and blessings.

The Lord is With The Brokenhearted,,,,,,Psalm 34:18.
