Faye Wrenn Obituary

Faye Hopper Wrenn CHERRYVILLE - Faye Hopper Wrenn, 91, of the 200 block of Barrett Road, formerly of Norfolk, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1919, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cleo Abernathy Hopper. Mrs. Wrenn was a retired bookkeeper for Anchor Fence Co. and member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church, Norfolk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wrenn; two brothers, Tom and Leander Hopper; and four sisters, Maude Webb, Katie Webb, Eva Dayberry and Minnie Barnes. Survivors include her son, Nelson L. Workman and wife Lydia of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Warren, Guy and Anita Workman, Lauren Wrenn, Alica Arganza and Ariana Thompson; seven great-grandchildren, Haley, Aidan, Natalie and Lily Workman, Camden and Zander Arganza, and Liam Thompson; and her twin sister, Ruth Dayberry, with whom she resided. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
