Dale Ore Obituary

Dale T. Ore Sr. VIRGINIA BEACH - On Oct. 3, 2010, our dad, Dale T. Ore Sr., born Sept. 1, 1928, was reunited with his parents, James and Thelma Ore; brothers, James W. Ore Jr., Edward B. Ore, Horton Ore, and Roland Ore; and his loving wife, Marion Grey Ore. A wonderful father, he is survived by his two children, Dale T. Ore Jr. and Marion Elaine Smith; son-in-law, Manly R. Smith Jr.; sister-in-law, Helen Marie Ore; grandchildren, Lana G. Hardy (Cary Hardy), Dale T. Ore III and Stephanie M. Ore; and a great-grandchild, Landon Q. Hardy. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Mr. Dale T. Ore Sr. Condolences may be offered online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
