Sorry to hear about your husband and father. Nearly 23 years ago we almost lost him, and in typical fashion Kirby bounced back. He, like his dad, had this neverending source of joyous strength. Even though we all know that this day is coming, we still are surprised when it does. My surprise at this unfortunate event is tempered by a joy that I had a chance to know him, as well a joy in his durable testimony.
I wish I could be there to witness Kirby's official homecoming.

You have my deepest sympathy.
I have such wonderful memories of Kirby from my teenage years. He was like a big brother to me and my group of friends. He was our friend and took us to the football games, the beach and to Shakey's Pizza. We got to go places we would not have been able to go to and we all enjoyed being with him. The memories he created for us will live on for ever.

I know that you will all miss him so much. My little Sarah said when I told her about W.R.'s brother passing away, "just think when he woke up, he was with Jesus". She also said, "Well, at least we know where he is." Hold on to that though--I can just imagine Kirby talking with Jesus, can't you!

My love to you all.
