Lena Siler

Lena Lambert D. Siler NORFOLK - Lena Lambert Dixon Siler, daughter of the late Dockery and Beulah Lambert, was born in Norfolk and peacefully departed this life Sept. 30, 2010. She was a founding member of Les Gemmes Incorporated, which has grown to include 21 chapters throughout the U.S. She taught for more than 30 years in the public school system. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter; son-in-law; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Alexander Lambert; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Oct. 7, at Shiloh Baptist Church.
