Anne Soberick Obituary

Anne M. Soberick NORFOLK - Anne Soberick, 82, passed away Oct. 5, 2010. Anne was born in Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Mary Michel Jan. 17, 1928. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; brother, John; and her grandson, Thomas. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Anne, Michael, Barbara Jean and Joseph; brother, Joseph; grandchildren, Alicia, Michelle, Bryan, Michael, Amanda, Meredith, Christina, Eric, Christopher; several great-grandchildren and numerous friends. Anne was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. She loved ceramics, crocheting, shopping and reading. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed traveling to Hawaii on numerous occasions. A Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 9 a.m., Oct. 8, celebrating with the Rev. Venancio Balarote Jr., with Chaplain Jim Fedder officiating. After Mass, the family will be in procession to Forest Lawn Cemetery. At all other times, family will be at the home of Barbara Jean. Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to www.altmeyer.com.
