"A mighty oak has fallen!"
In 2000 at the Franklin bowling alley seniors' league -- Mr. Obie was my partner on the two-person teams. I was 55 at the time. He used to call me "youngster."
We didn't always win but we had a lot of fun. Mr. Obie was too gracious to talk smack when we did win -- he left that to me.
My heartfelt sympathies to the Baker family! Mr. Obie was one of a kind!
