Jeremy Brinkley Obituary

Jeremy A. Brinkley SUFFOLK - Jeremy Adam "B" Brinkley, 28, went to be with the Lord Oct. 5, 2010 after a courageous battle with a spinal cord injury nine years ago. He was born in Suffolk, and was a graduate of Lakeland High School in 2000. He was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church and the Somerton Hunt Club. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Juanita Brinkley and his uncle, Cary Adams. Adam is survived by his mother, Dianne Adams Brinkley; father and companion, James "Jack" Westley Brinkley and Susie Forsythe, all of Suffolk; maternal grandparents, Priscilla and C.C. Adams of Gasburg, Va.; aunts and uncles, Frances and Morris Glover, Julia Perry and Pat Claud, all of Suffolk, and Delores Adams of Norfolk; and numerous cousins. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Reggie Warren officiating. Friends may also join the family following the service at the funeral home for a time of visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Neck Christian Church, earmarked for the Youth Fund, 4400 Holy Neck Road, Suffolk, VA 23437.
