I would like to extend my most sincere extended condolences and prayers. Rob and I were class mates from 7th grade on through h.s. We were always the two tallest in the class and were always shown the back row when it came to class pictures. My prayers for the family as we all can recollect what a genlte and kind man that was always good to everyone from way back when. May you rest in peace and may Gods' watchful care and eyes to bless your family forever.

I was crushed to hear of Mr. Nelson's untimely death. My prayers go out to the family. I didn't know Mr. Nelson well, only when he came to Bldg. 280 for his paint in the orange and blue cans! He was always a nice guy..and left an impression even tho our acquaintance was brief. Again, heart felt prayers go out to the family.

Dear Becky, Mr And Mrs Nelson, Kathy, Julie, Bill and Ken I'm so sorry to hear about Robbie. I wish I could be there at this time because I know how it is to lose a brother. Even though I'm far away my prayers are with you. I remember the good times at your house when I was young and growing up and Robbie was around. He was the nicest person alive. He would do anything for you. I"ll miss him terribly. It's a terrible thing that happen but God must have a plan for Robbie in heaven.

I remember Rob as a very kind and gentle man when I worked in the dry docks at the shipyard. I have vivid memories of him working on the lathe in the Dry Dock shop making drive nuts. He was always willing to explain things. The world would be a much better place if we had more people like him.

Gary and I lived across the street from Rob when we married in 1984. Rob was always there when you needed a helping hand. He was such a sweet man. Becky, we met you once and were so happy Rob had met and married such a wonderful woman. Our prayers are with you. May Rob rest in peace. God bless you.

I worked with Robert at the shipyard. I'm sure that I speak for many in saying that he will be missed. I knew him to help anyone with any problem at anytime. The one thing I will always remember is his laugh. We shared many of these together. God bless his family and friends.
