Mary Heckman Obituary

Mary Sue Heckman VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Sue (Red) Heckman, 65, of the 1000 block of Gauguin Drive, passed away Oct. 7, 2010 in her home. A native of Ashetown, Ark., she retired from MWR Service at NAS Oceana. She is survived by her husband, William A. Heckman Jr.; her daughter, Suzanne Mackiewicz and husband; two sons, Roy Brock and Richard Brock and wife; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m. A private graveside will be held at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sentara Hospice, 535 Independence Parkway, Suite 500, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
