Doris Weaver Obituary

Doris Eloise Weaver NORFOLK - Doris Eloise Weaver, 76, of the 9400 block of Phillip Ave., passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Born in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. Woodall and Ella G. Fisher. She was the widow of Dominic Chirico and Lawrence Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard A. "Junie" Woodall and brother-in-law, Ernie LeBeau. Doris is survived by her daughter, Rachel Reed of Norfolk; three sons, Anthony Chirico and wife Brenda of Suffolk, Dominic Chirico of Scottville, N.Y., and Frank Chirico of Leicester, N.Y.; brother, James P. Woodall of Hephzibah, Ga.; two sisters, Joyce W. Rudolph of Norfolk and June LeBeau of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family received friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Oct. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today, Oct. 17, in the funeral home chapel by the Rev. William Presley. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, in Asbury Memorial Cemetery, McKenney. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
