Thomas Wallace Obituary

Thomas G. Wallace CHESAPEAKE - Thomas G. Wallace passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2010 with his family surrounding him. Mr. Wallace was born Dec. 28, 1923 in Pinetown, N.C. Mr. Wallace left behind to cherish his memory two daughters, Deborah W. Moore and her husband Wesley of Hanover, Pa., and Judith C. Stultz and her husband Glenn of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Wesley Moore Jr. and Michael and Ryan Stultz. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gloria A. Wallace; his parents; and two brothers. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a charter member of Hyde Park Freewill Baptist Church, 8501 Chesapeake Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23503. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be donated to his church, for he was a proud member. A visitation will be held in the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462, today from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home with procession to the graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Altmeyer Funeral Home is making arrangements, and condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
