Virginia Sackstein Obituary

Virginia J. Sackstein SUFFOLK - Virginia James Sackstein departed this life Oct. 6, 2010. She was born June 1, 1919 to the late Hannah and Hatcher James Sr. and was also predeceased by two beloved brothers, Hatcher M. James Jr. and Jacob W. James Sr. She is survived by her four children, Charles G. James Sr. and Lee DePuy of Cape Coral, Fla., Jenny Sarratt of Suffolk and Harvey C. Creekmore Jr. of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ginnie overcame many difficulties in her life by making courageous choices and she was dearly loved by her family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater assisted the family.

Jenny,

I was so sorry to see your Mother's obituary in today's paper. She was so courageous and you learned well from her! I miss your stories about her and I miss hearing from you!

You were such a good daughter to her and I know she appreciated everything you did for her. I know you will miss her.
