It's been 12 years and I think of Bev so often. Girls, I know you miss her so much. She would have helped you through so much since. You all were soo very lucky to have had her for along as you did. And I was surely blessed to have had her in my classroom those years. God sent your mom to me! I cherish those memories. I send love to all of you and your families. Marcia Cox

To Bev's sweet and wonderful girls,
I was so sorry to hear about your dear' sweet Mother and my bestest Primary reading teacher at Sherwood Forest School. I missed the obit in the Winston paper and so this is a belated sympathy. I really loved your Mom for so many reasons. What FUN she was to work with every single day. I have a book full of funny stories to tell you all. She was a GEM of a girl and I know you will miss her SO much. But you girls with husbands and children have even more memories than I have. I will let Kay McLeod know of her death as she loved her so much too. Bless you all. Much ,much love, Marcia Cox Winston-Salem, NC

Girls, I met your mom my when I first started teaching at Sherwood Forest. Her smile lit up my day. Although I never met your dad or any of you, I could tell how proud she was of all of you.

My heart and prayers go out to all of Beverly's family and friends, I was just shocked when I heard the news. Beverly always had a bright smile and cheerful greetings every time I saw her. She was always so encouraging. I so admired her zest for life, strong faith, and that wonderful laugh, I just loved her! I can't imagine Shady Grove without her. She will be so greatly missed. May God wrap His loving arms around each one of you.

To all of you girls! Just wanted to let you know how much I am thinking of you all. Sue, I still laugh about the HSC graduation party last year and sitting on the porch just laughing with your Mom and her sistas! Page, I loved "re-meeting" your Mom from many years ago! I know now where you all got that sparkle in your eyes! With thoughts and prayers!

A woman that always had a smile on her face and a warm hug, her happiness in life was so evident to me from a small child and I will always remember her for her warmth and sincere love of people. My prayers go out to all her wonderful girls and family. She is now certainly with some "Good Old Friends" and still smilin!
