Edith Marshall Obituary

Edith L. Marshall NORFOLK - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Edith L. Marshall Oct. 24, 2010, at Sentara Leigh Hospital, surrounded by family. Born Aug. 14, 1922 to Hugh J. and Lenora B. Liverman, besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Lee and Orville C. Liverman. Edith's world revolved around her husband of 70 years, Albert Holman Marshall Jr.; two daughters, Adell M. Lawson and husband Dave, Cecelia M. Needham and husband Fred. She is also survived by grandchildren, Laura, David, Chris, Sean, Brittany, Jennifer and Greg; great-grandchildren, Karen, Kenny, Cheyenne, Dylan, Abigail and Cody; many nieces and nephews each of whom she loved with all her heart. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood officiating. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
